I’m Charles Winthrop the Third: goblin, storyteller, broadcaster, maker of peculiar things, and firm believer that a life does not have to look ordinary in order to be honest, useful, or good. I dress as myself, build the things I wish existed, tell the stories I want to hear, and generally refuse to become smaller simply because it would make other people more comfortable.

This site is the crossroads for all of it: my hobbies, my books and creative work, handmade oddities, ongoing projects, assorted adventures, and whatever improbable thing I have wandered into lately.
